    Santa B\u00e1rbara Castle<\/h1>\n

    Saint Barbara castle is located on the summit of Mount Benacantil, at 166 meters of altitude. It is one of the greatest Spanish medieval fortresses, which overlooks the Alicante bay.
    It is composed of three venues at distinct altitudes, which date from different periods.
    In the highest venue (\u201cLa Torreta\u201d) there is the Tower of Homage and the oldest remains of the fortress, which in their majority go back to the 14th century.<\/p>\n

    The middle venue houses the most important rooms of the 16th century, which are the Felipe II Room<\/p>\n

      Tabarca<\/strong>, the only inhabited island of the Valencian Community, is located eleven nautical miles from the city of Alicante, close to Santa Pola Cape. In fact, it is more than just an island, it is a small archipelago made up of La Cantera, la Galera and la Nao isles. It is approximately 1,800 m long and its maximum width is of 400 m. In the past, its coast was refuge for Berber pirates and the walls surrounding its urban nucleus have been declared a site of historic and artistic interest and a cultural heritage site.<\/p>\n

      It has coves and beaches with transparent waters and a picturesque sailing harbor.<\/p>\n
