We have\nbeen working for months to take all the necessary measures against the\ncoronavirus, and as a result of this intense work we can announce that we have\nreceived the recognition of SICTED <\/em>Advanced Good Practices\nfor the reduction of the risk of contagion of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in the\ntourism sector<\/strong>. An award that very few Spanish language schools for\nforeigners have been able to accredit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nrecognition is granted within the framework of the Integral System of Tourist\nQuality in Destinations (SICTED) of the Secretariat of State for Tourism of\nthe Ministry of Tourism<\/strong>, and is valid for two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this\nway, our students can rest assured: we have passed a strict audit on the\nimplementation and compliance with a series of advanced good practices in the\nfight against the coronavirus. Do you want to know what the main measures are?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At Costa\nde Valencia, Spanish language school<\/em>, we have drawn up and approved a Contingency\nPlan<\/strong> that specifies in great detail all the measures and protocols that\nmust be complied with by all, teachers and students. These are some of the main\nmeasures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We\nhave created a management group on the strategies and decisions needed to\nminimize the hygienic-sanitary risks of infection of the SARS-CoV-2\ncoronavirus. Among its functions are the control of compliance with all the\nmeasures and their adaptation, according to the evolution of the pandemic and\nthe regulations to be applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The\nmaximum capacity of the school is set at 110 people, 75% of its capacity. The\nmaximum capacity is also specified in each of the classrooms, in which the\ndistance of one and a half metres between each person will be maintained and\nnon-essential furniture has been eliminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The\nuse of the mask is obligatory, and other measures are added such as access to\nhydroalcoholic gels; in addition, physical contact will be avoided and windows\nand doors will be kept open for better ventilation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The\nteachers and students will always occupy the same places in the classrooms,\nwhich will be disinfected before and after each use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\nPreference will be given to online classes, although the teaching staff will be\navailable for face-to-face classes, after agreeing the timetable with the\nstudents beforehand. Entry and exit times will be staggered to avoid crowding.\nThe cleaning service will be adapted to these times in order to maintain\ndisinfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The\nuse of common rooms is forbidden, as well as the sharing of office or study\nmaterials, computers, etc. There will be no group activities inside the centre\nand paper brochures will be eliminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Other\nprevention measures that have been put in place are the installation of screens\nand specific posters about the rules that must be complied with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– In\nthe case of classroom exams (level tests, DELE, CCSE…), in addition to all\nthe measures specified above, a 48-hour quarantine is established for documents\nand teaching materials before they are used again, such as pencils or exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
