About the School
TLCdénia (1985) is a family school whose main value is high quality. We are a family school and therefore we offer a warm welcome to our students. Dénia is a charming and friendly town situated on the Mediterranean coast between Alicante and Valencia with 20 km of coastline. Its privileged location, between the sea and the Montgó Natural Park, its excellent climate, with an average temperature of 18 degrees and its famous gastronomy, make Dénia a unique place. At TLCdénia we favour an unbeatable Spanish learning environment.

The school is located in the historic city centre, very close to the bus and train station, and only a 10-15 minute walk from the harbour and beaches. The classrooms are digitised and have interactive whiteboards to make the most of the lessons.

The aim of our courses is to get our students to speak Spanish fluently, in class they learn how native speakers use the language in real life, how people speak in the street, how they socialise. Our students develop skills that they can practice immediately outside the classroom. We focus on all the fundamental areas of language learning: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Our methodology combines a traditional treatment of grammar with the latest communicative approach with an emphasis on putting grammar into practice in communicative contexts that reproduce everyday life situations. We have a wide range of Spanish courses taught by a great team of professional teachers. We have courses for adults and young learners (during the summer months) and for all levels.

In order for you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay we consider it essential that you are satisfied with your accommodation. That’s why we take great care to ensure that the accommodation we offer is of good quality. We select our host families with great care, ensure that our shared flats and studio flats are kept in good condition, and offer general support to students in all matters related to this.
